Stockbridge property transfers mix home sales with town land deals in September
The Middle Berkshire Registry of Deeds recorded 16 Stockbridge property transfers between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3, but only three carried a sale price so far: $350,000 for 26 Mahkeenac Rd., $895,000 for 10 Prospect Hill Rd., and $1,165,000 for the period's top sale at 15 Interlaken Cross Rd. The median among priced sales was $895,000. The remaining 13 entries have no price on file yet, a normal registry lag, and several are not conventional home sales but town conservation acquisitions, a utility easement, builder filings, and family trust transfers. With most instruments unpriced and a mix of transaction types, the data does not support characterizing the period's tone beyond noting the limited priced-sale sample.
