Stockbridge 250 Committee Approves Minutes, Reviews Passport Rollout
Other Committee · Meeting of June 3, 2026
Stockbridge 250th Anniversary Committee approves minutes, presses passport distribution townwide. Meeting in hybrid session, members reviewed a lighter-than-hoped turnout at their April 25 Bidwell Park event featuring the 25th Continental Regiment, then focused on getting unclaimed "passport" booklets into visitors' hands at the Red Lion Inn, the Chamber of Commerce information booth, town offices and the Triplex Cinema. Member Susan said of pushing Triplex staff on programming details: "So I'm pushing.
I keep asking." The committee estimated its financial commitment to the "Rebel Town" musical production at roughly $12,000, leaving a little over $8,000 in its remaining budget. Members floated a scaled-down September community history day, potentially with Stockbridge Library staff, and set their next meeting for July 15. Both the minutes and a motion to adjourn passed on unanimous voice votes.
